Happy Memorial Day weekend! The official start to summer. My kids have one week left of school (kind of, more like 2.5 days) and I’m ready to lean in. We have the kids signed up for a couple of camps in June but other than that we are going to savor longer days and less of a routine. It’s not always easy for me to lean into a summer routine but I know it is deserving.
What’s on your summer bucket list? I’m actually not sure that I want to make one this year. There is so much pressure to get it right, whether it is the holiday season, vacation, summer break. I just want to wake up every day and feel like it is a new opportunity to do what we want! I do, however, plan on cooking tons of yummy meals. We go to this little roadside Amish stand when we are in Wisconsin and it is filled with rows and rows fresh vegetables. It’s my favorite place to shop!

Patriotic inspired for the summer ahead. I love red, white and blue year round but in the summer (especially packing for a month long trip) I love incorporating these colors into my every day style. I have been a little under the weather and I watched two short series, The Four Seasons and Sirens, on Netflix. I highly recommend both!
