Happy Sunday and Happy Easter to all who celebrate!

My sister is in town from Charlotte with her family and my parents are still in Charleston for another two weeks. We celebrated today with brunch at our house and a day at the beach with the kids! I have Ballerina Farms croissants that I let rise overnight, plus we are serving bagels with lox, scrambled eggs, bacon and a big fruit salad. I always love an excuse to pull out my favorite table settings which is a hodge podge of collected items.

I can’t believe that we only have six weeks left before summer! We have a couple weekends of travel coming up and school activities and this year is just flying by. We had the best trip to Turks & Caicos. It was our 4th time staying at the Somerset! It is the most wonderful resort for children, never feels overly crowded and the staff is incredible. We first visited almost 10 years ago and the staff is still the same all those years later (which we love). I can’t recommend enough. They gave me a code for you to book - LIZA25. • Hunter Bell’s newest collection. I just love her pieces so much! I’m especially loving this green gingham skirt and these cute Gemma shorts.

• I had been wanting a Higher Dose Sauna Blanket for years (so many of my friends have and recommend) and finally bought one for myself as an early Mother’s Day gift. I’ve done it twice and it’s safe to say I’m addicted. Very easy to clean and perfect for a quick at home sweat!

• How amazing is this Bottega look-a-like bag from Quince? It is the cutest shape to wear dressed up or down and a great price. I also discovered Quince has the cutest $20 pajamas for kids.

• J.Crew x Tkees jelly sandals. I ordered the red as quickly as I could!

• A little reminder to check out my Shopbop hearts! I update these daily. So many of the pieces I ordered for my own closet have already sold out so fast. It’s a great place to check if you’re hoping to see what I’m eyeing.

• I was influenced and ordered a weighted vest. I got the 12lb. Who has one??

• I’m not sure if your grocery stores are open today but if you need a last minute Easter dessert, this recipe for store bought angel food cake with lemon whipped cream and sugared blueberries is a favorite! It’s also great for Mother’s Day!

Can I be completely honest/vulnerable right now - I am so behind on work. It’s a never-ending battle of feeling behind. Most days I feel like I’m a broken record with this and truly am never looking for feedback or validation. I’m just sharing how I feel. I feel like in this space there is constant missed opportunities and I really hold myself to a standard that I once could uphold but just can’t anymore. It’s definitely a me problem! My blog is days and days behind, I once demanded that my new emails/blog posts/Instagram posts went live by 8am and I just can’t keep up with that expectation anymore. I am sick of making excuses for myself but also need to be aware of my new reality. I keep telling myself not to apologize for it and just figure out my new routine but here we are. I just felt the need to voice it. You are my community and I’m an oversharer. No pity party at all!! Just maybe telling myself it’s okay.
