How are you?
Summer is in full force and I’m not going to lie, I feel it! Anyone else feeling the pressure to perform and take full advantage of every waking moment only to kind of just feel defeated? Yep, same. But I really do feel the push to give myself a break and I think I’ve been kind of doing a good job! Not sure why, maybe too tired to care. More on that when you scroll to the bottom of this post where I share my word of the summer. It’s a good one.
The idea for this post came from scrolling through my camera roll and all the photos I take to share with friends. Random product suggestions that I want them to try, thoughts throughout the week, brain dumps, recipe exchanges or grocery store finds. My tongue scraper. I am really starting off this post with a bang but when I think about the things I can’t live without this is top of the list. I am little psychotic about oral health (I brush my teeth 3x a day and floss daily) but if you haven’t scraped your tongue, well you must! Our tongues release toxins while we sleep which is why you may wake up feeling a little gunky in your mouth. I used to believe that brushing your tongue with your toothbrush was enough but nope. This baby gets back to the base of your tongue and removes all toxins that come to the surface. I can’t start my day until this is done. It also supports your immune system by clearing out any bacteria! Plus your breath will be better and no one wants a white foamy tongue, ew.
