If you’ve discovered me through the Substack app and haven’t been following me on Instagram or my blog, well hi, I’m so happy you’re here! I’m a mom to three boys - Charlie (9), Jack (7) and George (4). The funny thing about motherhood is that once you’ve had one, you sort of think you’ll be prepared for what comes next. Let this serve as a reminder that every child is different and as soon as you are comfortable, life has a funny way of slapping you back into reality.

I’ve shared before that my youngest son has a pretty severe speech delay. He is 4.5 and if you were just meeting him, you would have a hard time understanding anything he says. However, in the past couple of months we have seen some incredible strides in his speech development (yay!). I have had endless conversations about this on social media without really giving a full recap of our process to getting where we are now. I am someone who loves to feel community in uncertainty and thought it would be helpful to share our journey with you.
