I am so excited about this year. When I first moved my newsletter over to Substack, I knew I wanted to bring the conversations we covered on our podcast, too. In the 14 years that I’ve been sharing my life on the internets (all the way back to my blogspot days), I’ve felt an increasing shift in my need for more privacy. I am an open book! And have loved the incredible conversations I’ve shared over the years. But there are so many things that I don’t talk about (sex! deeper conversations about relationships! mental health! parenting!) and truthfully just feel safer doing so behind a paywall. So with paid subscriptions also comes more conversation and let’s just say I’m really excited.

My kids went back to school today and let me tell you, it feels good. We had the best Christmas break with family and friends (plus a couple colds and the flu) and I’m feeling recharged for the year ahead. It is also George’s 4th birthday! Which I never really realized until life got chaotic how close George and Jack’s birthdays are to the holiday madness. It definitely adds to the chaos but is also so much fun. I’m tried and happy.
I mentioned in my blog post today (and a bit in the video above!) that I’m really focused on implementing better habits this year. I’m ready for a little more self discipline, especially in my business.
